| 01-2-2009 - week 22 | My mood while writing this blog:tired and a bit restless |
Been looking on a few profiles and i have decided to write a blog.
i am currently 22 weeks pregnant, with my 3rd child. it feels like i haven't been through it before, strange really! i have a daughter that will be 15 in march and a little boy who is 4. i guess its different now because im with someone that truely loves me and the fact that i have grown up ( i was 17 when i had my daughter).
i had my 20 week scan a few weeks ago, and they discovered i had a single vessel umbilical cord, i was told no other information. so i am greatfull for the reasuring advice i have been given by a couple of the girls on here. of course i had a look on the internet for info and was horrified and worried silly by what i saw. i know these cases are a small minority (about 25%), but it doesnt help when no one thats caring for me tells me anything. i am due to go to a fetal medicine clinic at my local hospital, but they have forgoten about me........my midwife had to ring and remind them i existed!!!! so hopefully i should have some answers in a week or so.
