18-6-2009 - 6/18/09 Appointment

My mood while writing this blog: Blessed

I had my glucose screening and had to drink that syrup! haha. I went back an hour later and learned that I FAILED, yes failed my test. I was supposed to be at 135 or under, and I was at 141.

I have to go back in on Tuesday to take a 3 hour test, where they will take my blood every 3 hours after I drink the sugary drink. Hopefully that one comes back just fine, and we won't have to deal with gestational diabetes. I think my test could have been altered by the cinnamon sugar toast I had this morning. EEk... They told me not to eat 2 hrs before, and I didn't, but I had a LOT of sugar this morning! :) I also learned that I am anemic. I have to get some iron supplements and that should take care of that problem! No wonder I have had NO energy!

As far as our little girl-- her heart rate was at 158 bpm and I am measuring just right! She sounded great and we are so thankful :)

Also, I have been in so much pain the last few weeks in my right ribs! It felt like someone was PUSHING my ribs out. I don't know what was causing it, but thankfully my doctor also does adjustments and I felt instant relief! He said my rib was popped out a bit :S

All in all, my appointment was good. We are so excited and can't wait to meet our little girl! 2/3 of the way there!
