My mood while writing this blog: Ok |
Hello my dear IAP friends!
I am in desparate need of quick easy food recipes to freeze prior to Gianna being born in four weeks (maybe sooner!). Money is low so buying quick foods from Costco or Walmart is out of the question, so I figured I would premake some things to have on hand. You guys are so awesome with recipes and seem to be such great cooks, I am turning to you!! So please if you can, send me recipes, links or anything on food recipes that you have tried that are good for the whole family (have a 17 month old to feed, too!!).
Thanks so much guys!!!

Tuesday, 3 Nov Also, try those lasagna noodles that do not need to be cooked ahead of time to make lasagna...I use San Giorgio brand. I pretty much follow the recipe on the box. You could make that in disposable casserole pans too...I use the Hefty Ovenware pans to give to friends. They work great! nmck -
Tuesday, 3 Nov I have made this casserole for several friends to freeze for after baby arrives. Inexpensive, easy, and tasty...Get 3 boxes of Au Gratin potatoes, or 2 boxes of the "value size", 1 pound of ground turkey, and 1 box of frozen chopped spinach. Brown and drain turkey. Make potatoes according to stove top directions on the box, and thaw and drain spinach. Then, combine all three things in one pot. Works perfectly to dish out into those disposable casserole pans for freezing. Then just bake until hot when you want to eat it b/c everything is precooked. Good luck! mommyof2soon -
