Hello! At 18weeks I went in for a routine utlra sound! Something went wrong! They found fluid in his chest! They finally called it Pleural Effusion or hydrothorax! I went to see a specialist and he had been practicing for over twenty years and only seen ten cases of this! He said its very rare! By 19wks I had to go in the hospital so they could take a needle and remove all the fluid. By 23weeks my son was cleared of the fluid! I have looked this up on the internet time after time by cant seem to find much on this! I was wondering if anyone else has had to deal with this. I am wondering how everything turned out for them or if anyone had a questions about this. I was very scared when i found out and if i had someone to talk to it might have been a little better! Please dont be afraid to ask!
