20-5-2009 - specialist visit 25wks

My mood while writing this blog: the happiest ever!

I had my visit with my specialist. Since I was referred to a high risk dr after the abnormal blood work and the echogenic bowel. But as of today, she doesn’t think she needs to see my anymore! My son looks perfect! We took a closer look at his little heart, and from what is visible, he has a perfect little heart!

He already is as stubborn as his daddy, that is for sure! So he kept moving and wiggling around, giving the tech a hard time! And when he finally settled on a spot, he decided he was going to do so in a position to where the tech couldn’t see his heart! So we fought with him for about 15-20 mins, they had me turn left, then right! And nope, he wouldn’t budge!!!! Little booger!

He is measuring 1lb 10oz, she said that is not too small and not too big, just a perfect size,… of course, because HE IS PERFECT.

He does however have huge FEET! They are measuring 2 in already!

And no surprise that he was breeched. My last 2 babies where breeched, so I am not surprised that he would take after his sisters bad habits! It doesn’t matter anyways, I am having a c-section regardless. So whatever his final position is, that is fine with me!

He also has hair!! It was too funny! My little man! What a cutie.

Just seeing him suckling away, and putting his little hands in his mouth, was priceless. The tech switched to 3d view briefly, and I almost cried at how beautiful he is.

It makes me angry at myself for worrying so much in the beginning thinking that there could have been something wrong with me baby, … when in reality he “seems” fine, and even if everything wasn’t (isn’t) fine, he will always be perfect to me.

13 more weeks till I get to hold him and LOVE him even more!

I am so very happy for you.. I knew things would turn out PERFECT!! Now you can sit and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy and wait patiently (or impatiently) for your little prince to arrive!!!!
