25-8-2008 - First OB appt 8/25/2008

My mood while writing this blog: SO HAPPY!!!

I had my first actual OB appointment today. She said everything looks great so far. I didn't get an ultrasound :( but she said by feeling my uterus everything is right on track for 11 weeks. I was able to hear the heartbeat! It was a strong, healthy, fast, tiny little heartbeat! It is the best sound in the world! Now it is actually real since I've heard it. They did find glucose in my urine, so I had to do the one hour glucose test. She said I am at risk to have gestational diabetes, so I'm not really looking forward to that. But if it happens, then it happens and we deal with it! And I've actually lost three pounds since I found out I was pregnant just by eating healthier, so that's good!

I am just so excited! Couldn't be happier!!!
