My mood while writing this blog: Drained |
Well, last monday I started to come down with a pretty nasty cold. I have bad asthma as it is, and the cold was making it even worse. I worked for two hours on Tuesday. Made it a full eight hours on Wednesday. Only five hours on Thursday then I took my butt to the doctor. He gave me some antibiotics and steroids and a new inhaler. Friday was even worse and I ended up going to the ER. They worked on my breathing for about 5 hours and finally admitted me. My oxygen levels were really low, pulse was really high, and I couldn't breathe. I ended up being in the hospital all day friday, saturday, and came home sunday evening. The whole time there I was taking breathing treatments every two hours and jooked up to oxygen. Didn't even have enough strength to go to the restroom without needing a treatment. I asked for the OB doctor the whole time just to come and check everything out with baby and make sure everything was ok. They FINALLY came on sunday before I went home and checked the heartbeat. Everything is fine with baby. Now I'm just completly drained and still having a hard time breathing. I had to get rid of my dog-which is tearing me up. I've always been allergic to dogs, but it has never been this bad. Because baby is taking all my energy and immune system-the slightest thing is 10 times worse than normal. So now I'm tired, exhausted, sad, drained. You name it-i'm there. And I had to take Rob back to work yesterday so now I'm all alone...no fiance, no dog. Just a really sick me. Not having a very good week at all.

Tuesday, 14 Oct Erin - I am soooo sorry to hear that. I, too have asthma.. we have had to get rid of our cat.. which was extremely sad. I can't imagine how crappy you feel with being sick and not having your fiance there nor your dog.. But you have to take care of yourself.. that's the most important thing. Get some rest and keep us posted on how your doing! I will keep you in my thoughts. Popeyes girl -

Tuesday, 14 Oct I am so sorry you are so sick! My son Cameron has asthma and does pretty good with it unless he gets a cold, then all hell breaks loose and he usually ends up in the hospital too. I feel so sorry for him when hes like that, hes miserable, but at least he has us, I am sorry you are by your self right now!!!
