30-1-2009 - 33 Week update-BIG BABY!!!

My mood while writing this blog: Anxious

I went in for an ultrasound this week (33 weeks) to check the fluid level around the baby since I've been having so much trouble with my breathing and been taking so many breathing meds. Durring the US I noticed the "gestational age" number on the screen kept bouncing back and forth when she would take different measurements. Measuring her thigh the date went all the way up to 37 weeks! So I asked the tech how big she is and she said that she looks a little big but the doctor would look everything over and call me with the results. Well-they just called me and said at 33 weeks she's measuring about 35 weeks. So they want me to come in for another ultrasound at 37 weeks to see if she's still 2 weeks bigger than she should be. So there's a chance she could be here sooner than March 17th! Now I'm even more anxious to get everything ready for her on time. But I have the US scheduled for February 23rd so I'll just try not to freak out too much until then! And I am SO ready to be done with work! Every day when I come in I just instantly want to go home. But I'm going to try to work as long as possible. I had planned on stoping work March 1st to give about two weeks of down time to prepare things-but if she comes early than that's not much prep time (if any-depending on how early she may get here). So it looks like I have another month of work...ugh! Anyway...now I'm babbeling. Hope everyone is having a great week!!!
