03-6-2008 - lg uterus for 16 weeks

had a dr's visit yesterday and she said my uterus was large. i had one ultrasound just after 5 weeks prego and it showed only one baby and no fibroids. she was than telling me that they do miss multiples in rare occasions yadda yadda. she was wanting me to go for another ultrasound asap but unfortunately mondays are the only days i can go (dh off work that day) and they couldnt get me in during the next mondays coming up. i do have my scheduled ultrasound at the end of the month so we will have to wait until then.

I dont feel that it is twins again. I was looking online at sometimes you can have a large uterus from extra fluid which could mean a possible birth defect. i am not getting any testing done because i will keep the baby no matter what. it could also be that my uterus is stretched out from the twins last year so it ballooned up right away lol. maybe going to be just a big baby :) I have felt the baby moving a couple inches below my belly button and much lower so there is lots of room for him to bounce around. I still have morning sickness. the last week it has been nice to me and eased off abit and so it wasnt' as bad but yesterday and today...yuck!

Oh my I will be excited to learn if it is twins again. I would faint if I got twins again. You better post right soon after finding out. Happy 4th of July

Don't be so quick to ruleout twins again! I have 9 month old fraternals and am expecting twins again due Nov 13th!!!! You just never know!!!!!!!LOL- You are right though there are a lot of reasons you could be measuring big!
