23-6-2009 - Two weeks later Not sureMy mood while writing this blog:
Not sure

Thomas is two weeks old today and he is doing very well. Gabe has adjusted to him except when he is tired and cranky and all he wants is his momma (poor guy). Everyone is doing very well and I am so happy about that. Thomas is sleeping well, about 6 hours straight at night and that is a relief. I really couldn't ask for anything more, but I seem to be having a little bit of the baby blues. With my first pregnancy I was crying all of the time and holding the baby wondering what I was supposed to be doing with him. This time it isn't that way exactly but I feel like I'm not yet connecting with Thomas like I want to. He is a sweet baby with a great disposition that rarely cries, but something is missing. I took Gabe over to Grandma's yesterday to play so that Thomas and I could have a whole day just the two of us and that seemed to help a little bit. I'm sure that this is all still hormonal and boy am I ready for it to be over. I think if my body felt back to normal that it would help also. Anyway-- enough whining. I really have nothing to complain about since I have 3 beautiful men in my life and everyone is very happy. Of course, if it wasn't going to be 100 degrees every day for at least the next week it would probably help also!
