09-3-2009 - Weeks 35 to 40!!

Week Thirty Five to
Week Forty

To begin

The last 6 weeks have been very up and down. I lost my mucus plug at Week 33/34 and was told London would have been here within the next two weeks so we rushed to get everything ready and here we are 6 weeks later and still no Princess..I have been cramping off and on for the last few weeks and had my membranes sweeped on Friday and still nothing - today is my due date and I am patiently waiting to meet my little girl ...My body is beyond done - my feet and hands are swollen they hurt, my back aches and everything is just sore- i just want her to come out!! Can you tell how frustrated I am?? (lol) - the doctor told me if she hasnt come by next week, they will induce towards the end of the week- I erally want her to come naturally but if thats how she needs to come then we will deal with. I am feeling very nervous about the whole labour process and really hope i can go without an epidural, although when I ready everyone's birth stories, they seem to have been in alot of pain - so we will wait and see...I have gained a total of about 30 pounds...Here's hoping the next time i sign on, i am writing my birth story!! Congrats to all my lovely friends who have had their babies - cant wait for you to meet mine :)
