15-6-2009 - Baby movement curiousMy mood while writing this blog:
curious

I feel my son move every morning when I wake up, then around lunch when I eat and then around 5-6pm and finally right when I go to bed he gets all comfy. It's like he already knows my schedule and cooperates with me. Sunday I hit my stomach really bad when I was carrying my niece's walking toy and it hit the door and it bounced off my stomach and he didn't move for a while but towards the night I felt movement and today I heard his heartbeat at my monthly check up so he's fine. I was scared out of my mind. Is it true that the way you carry the baby while preggers is the way they will be when they are born as far as sleeping habits? Or is this another old wives tale?

Any input would be nice.

Thanks ladies.

My son's sleeping habits were similar to when he was in the womb, however my son wasn't all that active in the womb and now he's EXTREMELY active, he doesn't stop until nap & bedtime! This pregnancy little man is a mover in the womb {finger's crossed} he's laid back outside the womb...not sure I can handle two bouncing off the wall boys ;0).

The way they are in our tummy is the way the will be, but that refers to personality and behavior. For example, my son had gentle movements and he didn't cause me any pain or discomfort. He is still calm, cool and content. I've never met a happier baby in my life. He rarely cries and he's very attached to me and daddy
