16-8-2009 - Pregnancy Problems

My mood while writing this blog: SAD

I was feeling perfectly fine until Wednesday night when all of a sudden I felt back pain that came all the way around to my stomach on the right hand side. I was in so much pain that I couldn't sit still all night. My mom was up with me the entire time and I didn't think it was serious untill the pain was so unbarable that I had to go to the Hospital and it turns out I have kidney stones. I got an ultrasound done on my kidneys and that's how they determined it. OMG I was in pain and in shock at the same time. I went through a procedure the next morning where they put a stent in my kidneys and my bladder. The stent will be removed after I give birth. Everyone there told me that the baby will be coming early which is even more scary. I was in the hospital for 2 nights and I am still having pains and bladder spasms and I ccan't control my bladder. It is so embarrasing. My doctor put me on strict bed rest and will not allow me to go back to work. I called my boss to tell her the bad news and at first she sounded like she was fine with it, then I'm ready to be discharged from the hospital when the phone in my room rings and it's my boss calling back to make sure that I wasn't lying to her.To be hosest with you that pissed me off even more. I was already mad that I coudn't go back to work and I'm missing on so much money and for her to do that was just not right.By the way they also did an ultrasound on the baby and he's doing fine but he's already dropped. His head is behing my pelvic bone and he's ready to come and join us. Scary huh? Yeah tell me about it.
