18-7-2008 - His Head is Still High...

My mood while writing this blog: Happy

So we had our 38 week appointment today and baby Jordan is doing just fine. So fine and comfy in there, that his head is still very, very high and he loves being inside Mommy so much that I have not dialated one bit and have no sign of efacement!LOL :) I have only gained 18 pounds so far and I have one week left, yeahhhhh!!! Although Jordan is so heavy I feel like he weighs 10 pounds :) My doc said that it is a good thing we decided to go with the c-section because Jordan seems to be a big baby that would not have been conducive to having a vbac anyway. I agree and I'm glad I was open to whatever God wanted for me and didn't try to make any decisions on my own.

Now we wait....that is definitely the hard part but thank goodness we are now only 7 days away and Jordan will be here on July25th! I am sooo excited that our little boy will here soon. I have been waiting for that moment for so long and it is finally almost here. My bags are packed for the hospital and Jordan's things are prepared and ready for him. My hubby and son are excited and just waiting on him too. The next week will more than likely go slow for me but I'm kind of glad now as it will give me time to just keep prayng and thanking God for where I am and reflect on my pregnancy and how blessed we are. Looking back over the last 9 months, I realize how incredibly blessed we all are to be carrying god's greatest gift, life! The thing that is so beautful to me is that my hubby and I made him from the love that we share between us and we truly do love each other so much. I pray that our love shows in Jordan's life and his disposition. Yeah, I'm feeling pretty sentimental tonight ladies!
