22-6-2008 - Wide awake at 1:25 AM...

My mood while writing this blog: tired

Well it's 1 AM and I'm wide awake...I have a horrible case of heartburn and acid reflux. The iron supplements did not want to stay down today and just as I was falling asleep, I started feeling sick. I did not throw up but I sure felt awful. I went to a wedding today and probably should have steered clear of some of the soul food not to mention the ice cream cone I had when we got home, LOL :) It's amazing that I have only gained 15 pounds with this pregnancy, because I promise I do not miss a meal, LOL :) Anyway, I know I'm tired and really need some sleep but Jordan is up as well and moving all around and I just can't get comfortable. Lately it's becoming harder to get a full nights sleep anyway since I hate to toss and turn because once I wake up it's hard to go back to sleep and it's so hard to shift from one side to the other. Also, lately every smell bothers me...I cleaned my kitchen twice today and still could not get rid of some smell that lingered in my nose, now I have not had that since the 1st trimester! I'm so ready for the next 5 weeks to speed by and for Jordan to finally be here and I know my hubby and John are too. I feel like time has flown but I also feel like I have no more room in there for him to grow. He is kicking and moving both high and low at the same time so when I go back to the doctor on 7/3 for the final u/s I'm sure he will tell me that he is at least 6 pounds. A lot of my friendsnetwork buddies have either gave birth or will deliver soon... so pray for me ladies, because I'm ready and starting to get anxious. That is not good becaue I still have 5 weeks to go and I really need to be patient. I hope I can get a few hours of sleep tonight because I have a full day tomorrow. We have church in the morning and hubby is giving another BBQ for his relatives that are visiting from out of town. At least with all of many events that he keeps coming up with, it makes the time go by faster, LOL :)

Well I'm off to bed to try to get some zzzz's ( I just realized that my feet have now started to swell a bit as I have been typing, dang! now I need to prop them up while I try to sleep!) A pregnant woman's job is never done...but I know it's so worth every moment!
