Write a new blog
| 27-9-2009 - I can finally relax!! |
My mood while writing this blog: relaxed |
I feel so productive right now!! I finally got all of my baby's clothing washed and put away, including her blankets, bedding, towels and washcloths!! I only washed the 0-3 month clothing. The bigger clothing can wait. However I am a lil ticked off because everything SHRUNK!! I dried a few loads on low and one on medium, but everything seems smaller! I guess it's not a big deal since she is measuring small and I only have one newborn outfit and the rest are 0-3 months. I am just hoping she doesn't come out 9 lbs or more because she wouldn't have anything clean to wear!!
My next mission is to get our hospital bags packed. I have the list made of everything I need because I can't really pack because many of the items I use on a daily basis, such as my hair products and toothbrush. But at least I have a head start on it, right??!?!
Two weeks ago I started my weekly non-stress tests. The first one my lil stubborn mama would NOT cooperate! She slept the entire test so I ended up having to have an ultrasound to make sure everything was ok....and it was. Last week she was wide awake and passed the test with flying colors! I go every week now, and they are actually quite fun! I just sit in a comfy recliner, read a magazine, and press a button everytime I feel her move! My honey and I had a tour of the NICU last week, since she will have to spend time there recovering from surgery. I just hope she doesn't have to spend a lot of time in there! It really just depends on how long it takes her to recover, which can be 3 days to 3 weeks or more. But once she is stabilized and can eat on her own without any problems, we"ll be all set to go!
My next and final u/s is Tues October 6th, so I guess I will check back in with you ladies then for another update! Until then!!

Monday, 28 Sep I am glad everything is going great! As for packing your bag i have found out that packing travel sized hair and body wash and all that stuff is much easier. Plus you dont have to wait to pack sence you will have everything at home. I hope this helps and i cant wait to hear more good news! expecting-2b-patient (Cheryl) -
Monday, 28 Sep You are doing really well Mamma! I washed all DJ's clothes in cold water, I don't know if that helped, but I don't think anything shrunk. All you have is 1 newborn outfit and she is probably going to be tiny? I wish I was having a girl, I have LOADS of newborn and I bet he never wears them! Better get that hospital bag packed girl! It is right around the courner! I went and bought travel size of the daily items I use, I even bought a new toothbrush (LOL), just to keep in the hospital bag. I'm too nervous I'll forget something to pack. At Target the travel size items are only .50-.99 cents. Keep us up to date on that little one, I bet she does great! Did you like the NICU and the nurses at the hospital? supaflychick1982 -
Monday, 28 Sep Good news to hear and you are ahead of me. I only sorted out the 0-3 and 3 months clothes to wash for now as he already has so many. I just have to wash them and put them away. I hope his clothes don't shrink though because odds are he will be a 9lb baby. Two weeks ago he measure 7lbs 2oz. lol.
