09-11-2008 - Pregnancy journals

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

March 18th - I went to my first Dr's appointment today! He said I am 7 weeks and 1 day. My next appointment is in 4 weeks - and I'll get to hear my babys heartbeat then. Words don't describe how happy I am. I can't wait to hold my baby in my arms. <3

March 20th - Packing for the move was so emotional!!! I was ok ALL day long as the house was being emptied, but as soon as I lay in bed and try to go to sleep I cried :( I've lived in this house with Chase for 9 months... this is our home. Where we had our first kiss, where we made our first child.. I'm so sad to move out of it... and to move somewhere SO far away. I've lived in Florida my entire life, and to live anywhere else is just wierd.. I want to move away and be closer to his family, but I also don't want to leave mine behind. My sister who is pregnant also is expecting me to be there for her, help her throw her baby shower, and be there when her baby is born, and now I don't think I can do that.... I'll be so far away. ON THE OTHER HAND, this is so exciting! My sister is exactly 10 weeks ahead of me. I'm 7 weeks 3 days and she's 17 weeks 3 days today:-) haha I just think that's so cute. I'm going to head to bed I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow. Congrats all mommys! xo

March 22nd - Don `t have internet at the moment, so I haven `t been on the computer. I `m writing this from my phone - so hopefully it works. I `ve been so sick these past 2 days, sleeping til 1-2pm... hardly eating. Everything smells, looks and tastes discusting. I want to be able to eat normal again... I wake up around 4 times in the middle of the night so nausous... I don `t know how to make it go away... I hope it subsides soon because I cannnnot deal with this for much longer.

March 31st - I'm 9 weeks today!! :-) I don't even feel pregnant! I feel so great. I've only been nausous 2 times this week, I hope this doesn't go away!

April 13th - I went to the hospital today for an ultrasound and found out that I'm 9 weeks 4 days and not 10 weeks 6 days!! I got to see my lil baby moving around in there... just a tiny bit but it was OH SO CUTE! :-D I didn't get to hear the heartbeat though, which made me sad.. but I'm just glad he's healthy!! <3

April 25th - I sucessfully moved to Minnesota! Things are going great at the moment... I've been feeling pretty good for the most part. The second I wake up I have to get something to eat, or else I'll get SO nausous :( We haven't told his parents I'm pregnant yet... I'm a little afraid of what they'll think... It's so nice being with his family though... They are all so nice to me :)

May 5th - Today is daddys birthday!! I am 12 weeks 5 days, almost 13 :) I've been feeling pressure in my lower abdomen/ pubic bone area, when I sit, stand up, lay down get up and even when walking... it's strange and very uncomfertable.. I also woke up this morning and for some reason my nipples were crusty, dry and VERY sore.... wierd. But other then that, I have been feeling wonderful! Just a week and a few days 'til I'm in my 2nd trimester! My sister just found out what she's having today! She's 24 weeks and she's having a boy!!!! I am so excited for her. That's all that's new with me!

May 8th - I went and got my hair done today and I absolutely love it! They took the black out and dyed it brown with some highlights and cut it so short. I feel so much better now! On the other hand!!! If you haven't already seen the documentry 'The business of being born', I highly suggest you see it. It changed my view on giving birth completely!

May 16th - I am 14 weeks 2 days today! It is so hot outside.... I'm so used to central a/c and ceiling fans in every room of the house and in Minnesota THERE IS NONE! It's so hot!!!! Oh my god I hate it. It has been making me feel so nausous.. everyday. It's just absolutely discusting. It's making me miss Florida so bad..

May 23rd - I'm 15 weeks 2 days today. I went to my first prenatal appointment in Minnesota! I got to hear the babys heartbeat, for the first time. It was so absolutely beautiful<3 She said it was a little on the boy side ;) hehe, I'm praying for a little girl! So, everythings fine with me and the baby! The dr is 2 hours away from my house though... which is kind of a bummer. I get to find out the sex of my baby on June 19th :) I cannot wait until then.

May 30th - Today I am 16 weeks 2 days. I've been in a lot of pain lately in my pubic area. I've been reading about Pubic Sympysis Disorder, and I have every symptom.. I go to my doctor on June 19th... so I'll have to talk to her about it then. It's so painful, it's hard to walk.

June 7th - I'm 17 weeks 3 days!! Feeling great still... counting down the days til I find out the sex. Hope everyone is as happy as me :)

June 22nd - 20 weeks. Went to the Dr for an ultrasound on the 19th, and it's a littttle baby boy <3 They changed my due date from November 12th to the 6th. We also decided on the name Aiden Christopher, which I absolutely love.

July 1st - 21 weeks 5 days. I can see my baby kick my tummy now instead of just feeling it!!! It's so wierd, but I love it. I thought this wouldn't happen for awile so when I first seen it I was in shock. Chase was laying next to me and I had him watch it because he was kicking and he seen it tooo<3 I love my baby boy.

July 6th - 22 weeks 3 days today. I've been having AWFUL leg, hand, feet EVERYTHING cramps... they are so bad. I can never get to sleeep... it's so bad. I don't know what to do about them except take Tylenol when it first starts hurting so they don't get worse, but goodness how much can 1 person take! Also have been having some swelling in my hands in feet. I'm going to go ahead and say THIS PART of my pregnancy is farrr worse then the first trimester.. I can nottttttttt sleep, I cramp if my move body in any position, if I go outside and it's hot my feet become as big as a watermelon :P hehe it's all worth it though, I love my handsome boy. I've been feeling him kick a lottt more, sometimes he wakes me up in the middle of the night<3 Hope everyone had a great 4th of July!! xo

July 15th - 23 weeks 5 days. Baby has been kicking a lotttt. I have my next dr appointment on the 17th! Everything is so real now, I can see his kicks and my stomache is so big! Everywhere I go people ask me when I'm due, it's so wierd having people notice... I actually thought how does she know... hehe well my tummy is GIGANTIC. I will post pictures soon :) I've been having some swelling in my hands and feet... ugh..,., my wedding band doesn't fit me anymore :'( hmmph. Good news! Hubby just got a job at a Toys R Us and Babies R Us in one store.. So we'll be able to get discounts on baby stuff yay <3

August 9th - 27 weeks 2 days! Feeling Aiden move alll daaay long. He keeps me up most of the night wiggleing around and kicking me in the damn crotch! LOL. Recently bought a stoller for him about 2 weeks ago! LOOOOVE it. It's a jogging stroller so the wheels are huge! Put it all togeather and the next morning tried to fit it in Daddys trunk and ohhh no did it not fit! Good thing the back wheels pop of VERY easy! That's the only way it fits in the trunk which is a bummmer. Also, tried putting the car seat and that was just horrible. Don't even know how to do that. His mom is signing us up for a carseat class so we know how to do it correctly. My first birthing class is on Monday, I'm excited for it :) and my next appt. is on the 18th! I'm looking at getting a car because I don't have one at the moment! Went with my hubby to get his oil changed at the Audi dealership which took 4 hours so they loaned us a car to get lunch, a burgendy bmw x3... and ohhh does mommy want that. We're looking seriously into getting it, and MOMMY IS VERY EXCITED. Hope all is well with all mommies. xoxoxo

August 25th - 29w 4d!!!! I will be 30 weeks in 3 days! :-D I've been in a lot of pain lately... I can't get to sleep evvvvvver, and heartburn is so awful. I feel like such a fatty right now, I've been eating heathier since I went to my last dr. appt. last week and I failed my Glucose Test for GD... I have to go back this Friday for a 3-hour fasting test.... each hour they'll prick my finger & test my blood. Not to happy about that..... especially when my doctors office is 2 HOURS AWAY and I have to leave at 6am :-( yikes. Baby Aiden is doing wonderful, he is moving around and kicking so much. He's been kicking me in my crotch... and ohhh myyy lord, does it freaking hurt! I woke up lastnight because he was doing it so hard! LOL, he's already a meanie ;-P Right now, at this point, I JUST WANT HIM OUT. I cannot wait to have this baby.

August 31st - I failed my 3 hour glucose test... I have Gestational Diabetes... I am so upset. I want to be able to eat whatever I want :( My baby shower is in 2 weeks... I spent $300 on my cake... it's so gorgeous it looks like a wedding cake, and I won't even be able to eat it. Oh and good choice of where I'm having it at!!! At freaking Olive Garden and I won't be able to eat the food there. WHAT THE F***! why me.

September 4th - 31 weeks today. My uterus is still measuring bigger then it's supposed to so my lovley dr. scheduled me another ultrasound :-D I love her<3 I talked to her about having a small piece of cake at my baby shower and she reassured me that if I had a reasonably sized piece I would be totally fine, so I'm excited about that. My baby shower is in 10 days! And my mommy is flying up in a week to see me and be there<333 I'm so excited. I haven't seen her since March. Aiden is moving around lots and lots, at night it seems to never end! Little man doesn't ever want to sleep.

September 11th - I had an appointment to meet with a Dietition yesterday. It went really well, they checked my weight when I first got there and I've been the same weight for a month now so I'm happy about that! They have me my blood gluclose meter to test my blood... 4x's a day, yuck. I get way to nervous when I go to do it, that I just have my husbands dad so it because he's a nurse, lol. We went over how many carbs I can have at each meal, and I was given a book with all fast food restraunts and a menu of everything they have there with all of the nutritional info so now I know what I'm aloud to eat when I go out :) yesterday I went to Taco Bell and had a steak quesadilla! Yummmy. Alsooo, my baby shower is in 3 days! And my mom is flying down tomorrow to see me and be there for it, I am so excited :-D

September 17th - Had my baby shower on Sunday it went really well!! I got a lot of things for the baby :-D and I was able to eat my yummy cake with out my blood sugar going up. I had my OB appt. today and I also had an u/s! My blood sugar is only high in the mornings so she put me on 2.5mg of Glyboride..... and because of that I get weekly ultrasounds. YAYYYYYY!!!

October 15th - I had an u/s the other day and Aiden is measuring very big... so we discussed everthing with our doctor and have decided C-section is best for our situation. I've kept my GD under control so I have no idea why he is measuring big :( C-section is scheduled for my due date on November 6th! I'm so excited.

November 4th- Aiden will be here on November 6th at 7:30am. I will try to post pictures as soon as I can. xoxoxo
