I was going to vent some more, as I've been doing (I now realize) to anyone that will ask me how I'm doing. Plus, they have bombarded my schedule for next week with observations and planning sessions; essentially, someone will be in my room all day every day next week.
Anee-hoo ... five things brightened up my evening:
1. I didn't have enough cash at the Dunkin Donuts for my toasted bagel with cream cheese. I was going to pay with my card, but she informed me, after making the bagel, that the card machine wasn't working. She gave me the bagel anyway, and I ended up paying 70-cents less because that's all I had in my pocket. The cashier was super sweet about it.
2. I bought my dog IAMS puppy food, but in a can this time (we were feeding him Royal Canin, but we have to travel too far to buy it, so we had to switch to something convenient and nearby). Well, he loved it. My cat got near him to get in on the food action, and he gave her a few deep growls and tried to nip her! I was so proud! She's the bully 24/7 and this time he stood up for himself!
3. I saw an A&W Root Beer in the fridge; it had been there for days. I called my husband and he said it was mine and then I saw it was caffeine-free (for baby!) and I was super ecstatic. It went well with my yummy swedish meatballs lean cuisine meal. Hehehe.
4. I'm watching TV and tomorrow is the last work day of the week 'cause then we have Good Friday off!
5. At this point, I have totally felt the baby move! It feels like a flutter, but that fluttery feeling is getting stronger! Today it was an obvious baby-movement! Yay!
*Sigh*
Now, let's hope some good little things can come into my life so that I can survive tomorrow and, most importantly, my heavily-observed upcoming week.
