I am now realizing that this is going to be a super special experience for me, and I have to follow my heart in terms of how I feel comfortable and how I envision it happening; I always imagine giving birth in my own home. So, I'm hiring a doula for labor support, but I'm also doing research to see if I can switch to a midwife that's a Certified-Nurse Midwife, and can expertly guide us through a natural, homebirth experience. I'm still researching this topic, the safety of it, and making sure that I find skilled and experienced midwives, but I can't see myself in a hospital with IVs and other meds inside of me. Wish me luck in my research and journey!
