So, I laughed so hard today 'cause so many of my graduate school peers are murmuring about whether I'm pregnant or not, and a friend and I thought up the idea of wearing a t-shirt that basically announced the pregnancy. So, I custom-made a shirt that says "a man did this" on the front of the shirt and "coming to a biberon near you, august 2008" on the back (biberon is "baby bottle" in Spanish, but just found out it's French too!). I was laughing so hard at the different statements that I could have used, and then my belly button started to hurt. Then I remembered. I have an umbilical hernia! Since birth! My belly button has protruded out all my life and I wonder if this will affect my pregnancy in any way .... does it need surgery? If so, could I possibly have an innie for the first time in my life?
