The body works in surprisingly odd ways. For weeks, I had been craving beef, beef, beef! Come to find out, my iron was low! So, now I'm on iron tablets in addition to my prenatals, as well as Colace (a stool softener 'cause pregnancy + iron tablets = bad constipation). If that's too much information for you, you haven't been around a pregnant lady lately! :o) But, hopefully, all people reading here are pregnant ladies. :o)
Another thing, I swear I felt the baby move a few days ago. It was a fluttery feeling in my lower abdomen, maybe a few inches below my belly button. I was sitting down and very still while looking at something on my computer. Being that I have irritable bowel syndrome, I'd like to think that I know what gas feels like by now, so hopefully that was my first feeling of the baby at 14.5 weeks! Now, I'm 15 weeks! :o)
Lastly, another teacher is expecting (at the end of September)! She's also a first-year, and we have a lot of things in common, like where we live and the fact that it's our first year at this school and all, and now we're both expecting! It's like one of the ladies in the office said, when one becomes pregnant, you just gotta' wait around for the news of who else!
