No, not Lia. Sergeant! My little 10-month old puppy! He's a chihuahua and the dearest thing ever! He's obedient and playful and just fun to be around! I was giving him his monthly bath and trimming his nails today. Well, I trimmed two back nails too far and he started to bleed. I felt horrible! It was scary, but I didn't lose my cool. I applied pressure, we poured some Peroxide on the nails and one of them stopped bleeding. The other one wouldn't stop, so I googled some information and found out that baking powder can stop the bleeding if I didn't have talcom powder. It worked! Now, he has his head thing on (that thing that keeps them from licking wounds) and he's in his crate with a spoon of peanut butter as comfort food. My little one! It was funny the way my husband and I handled it. He didn't blame me, but definitely made it sound like I should have been more careful, but he was wriggling so much more today than other times! I told him, "Just wait till the baby comes ... this won't be the first of our mistakes as parents!"
