Write a new blog

My mood while writing this blog: Ok |
I wrote this in the Q&A section here, but in case there aren't many responses there, I decided to post it here, too (I typically blog at femiabelardo.blogspot.com):
For the past two days, my almost-7 week old has not been eating at the
babysitter`s. She will have 3 ozs max in between 6:30am and 4:30pm,
usually around 10am. The sitter says she`s gassy and we started gripe
water today. What`s going on? What can we do? I don`t want to put her
through a third day of this, but I have to work!

Wednesday, 8 Oct were you breast feeding or breast feeding when she's not at the sitter? or are you doing formula all the time? As i'm sure you know, she should be drinking 5 oz every 4 hours or so. Maybe its the bottle or nipple? different at the sitters? you should see if you can take some time off work for a morning and observe her at the sitters. Maybe she is not burping her properly after feeding and or she is so upset with you not being there that she's crying and getting more gassy and not wanting to eat. This is pretty important though- she can dehydrate quickly if she's not getting enough nutrition. Email me back if you can. LKLmama -

Sounds like your baby may be reverse cycling.
