My mood while writing this blog: Fed up!

Hi everyone.

I had my 12 week scan on Thursday and everything is ok with baby so really happy about that. I will post some photos!

I was really happy and was ready to share my news with the world, i posted the scan photo's on my facebook account and it ended up turning into some major drama.

Some family members were not happy that i had posted them on my account as i hadnt taken the photos round and showed them personally. It really upset me that something that is supposed to be a happy time has been tainted. Feel like nothing i do is ever right!

Anyway what i really wanted to ask.............I really struggle to take tablets, my folic acid were small tablets and i still struggled with them, now i am past the 12 weeks i have bought some Pregnacare tablets to provide the other supplements that baby and i need! Only problem is i cant swallow them at all, they are way too big.

I tried to crush them into some water to drink, this took forever and tasted awful, i also tried to cut them into small pieces but the sharp edges still made them hard to swallow and also i could taste them!

Does anyone know of any alternatives.................Why do they not do this is liquid or a dissolvable form?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Oh thats silly. i'm on facebook aswell n sometimes ppl can be so pathetic. jealousy more than anything. As regards to tablets personally i stopped takin any tablets like that after my 3rd bleed at 11 weeks n i still had a healthy baby boy. There are other ways that are alot cheaper of gettin vitamins such as different foods. if u search on google there are lots of sites that can help wth advice, xxx
