05-6-2009 - leg cramp !!!

My mood while writing this blog:
pain

oh my gosh has anyone else had leg cramp??

- i woke up at 330am with horrific cramp in my lower left leg it was awful i was screaming and had martin out of bed in a fright bending and stretching it for me and the pain was so bad i had to go be sick : ( ! anyway after about 15 horrific mins the pain started to go but its still really tender today in the same spot and feels like it may cramp again : (

Shame that sounds terrible! I have not fortunately experienced anything like that but I am so sorry you had to go through that! Pregnancy is a wierd and amazing experience full of good and bad surprises!

OMG yes, I have them nightly and a couple times a day. The only way I can get rid of them is to get stand on it.. The pressure releases for the muscle causing it to relax.

OHHH NOOOO...not the leg cramps!!! Ive gotten a few of these before...they are sooo painful that I can't help but to cry like a baby =/ I ask my OB about them and she said it was common during pregnancy, she also advised me to eat more bananas and drink plenty of water....so far so good! I haven't had one for about a month now :) Try stretching out your leg too, bending your foot towards you...that helps too. I hope it gets better cause those cramps suck!! GOOD LUCK :)
