Tuesday, 9 Jun I understand that as a first time mother we shouldn't expect much. Little flutters are ok. I heard it also depends your body shape as well. If you are thin you can feel better they say, I don't know how true it is. I feel flutters maybe not kicks at evenings after dinner when I sit to watch telly. I can tell you don't worry about it yet, we will feel really hard kicks , be prepared :-) excitedmisty (misty) -
Tuesday, 9 Jun Don't worry, it's my first too...i'm 19 weeks now and I only feel the occassional flutter, which to me feels like someone is tickling me on the insides...it comes and go...sometimes i feel it daily, sometimes every other day! I feel the tickling most about an hour after I eat food or drink something with sugar in it (like orange juice). We had our sonogram yesterday, and he was bouncing all over the place and couldn't feel it! It makes the few flutters I feel all the more special! nicoletka -
Tuesday, 9 Jun Girlfriend I am in the same boat! I feel things that I can't remember feeling before but I don't want to assume it is baby kicking and moving... I don't know but I want to believe that is my little girl saying hello! kimberly amber -
Monday, 8 Jun I feel sharp indulges. Mostly at night time. I dont feel kicks or anything really noticeable. I am really confused about the whole movement thing as well. I cant tell if its my food digesting, or im hungry, or its the baby. :) confusing i know! Zaviersmommy -

Monday, 8 Jun My movement started as feeling like lil flutters and they still do every once in a while. I think they feel more tickly than say gas or soemthinhg that we have been known to blame them on. LovinMyCesar -
Monday, 8 Jun well, I'm 22 weeks and I don't feel any movement either, it's pretty unclear to me too since it's my first pregnancy. I asked my doctor why I wasnt able to feel anything and she explained to me that I have an anterior placenta which means that my placenta is over my uterus. That makes it very hard and unclear as to what is a kick and what's a punch and all the different movements. Hope that helps : ) Baby dust to you! AshleyNicole1016 -
Monday, 8 Jun It could be movements as it sounds like what I was feeling. I started feeling movement around 12-13 weeks and it got stronger by 15-16 weeks. It was a bit early even though at 20 weeks I could see my belly move from side to side.
Some baby's aren't as active as other so it takes them longer. baby bake oven -
Monday, 8 Jun I feel very light movements occasionally and stronger ones now and then. But I'm never sure if the stronger ones are definitely baby or not...
