16-10-2009 - i can say thursday !

My mood while writing this blog: impatient!

so for such a long time - or so it feels ive been saying when people ask, im due in 6 weeks or i have 8weeks left but now i can say thursday lol im due on thursday ! not in weeks not in days thursday !wooohoooo !!
THURSDAY !
However its friday today, and ive had no pains, not plug no waters breaking - not so much as a twinge down there, uncomfy when i walk but literally NOTHING so ive decided i will prob go about 10 days over :( !
so I'd like any advice on how i can speed things up, think we are going for about a 20 min walk tonight , hope that may speed things up doubt it tho ! hmmm also ive heard alot of people on here who check their own cervix, i'd like some advice on this - is it a good idea, if so how do u do it ? hmmm !

raspberry leaf tea, i believe it helped me, and it's actually quite good tasting! lots of walking if you can manage it too! good luck!

ask ur doctor to induce you. by week 40 your placenta is not much use to the baby anyways. i am 37 weeks and my doctor says if i dont go into labor by week 40 she will induce me.

i've been eating A LOT of spicy food...and though i don't have a lot of progress i am at 1cm, 50% effaced, and lost the plug...however, i pay for it in heartburn...i also walk every night for about 20 minutes...and well, the sex thing...yeah, it doesn't feel good, but if you can handle it, give it a whirl! sounds like you can have big plans for the weekend now! HA HA HA!

Oh girl this is so exciting!!! So so happy for you! Don't have any advice on labour starters but can't your doctor induce you? My doctor said its not good for the baby to be overdue so if I haven't gone into labour by the 13th of November he will induce me. You must be so excited wow it's less then a week!!! Please please keep me updated if you can x x x all the best

i would say....drink raspberry leaf tea, have curries, sex is a good labour starter (if you can be bothered!) emmmm....what else did i do?! walking is a good one. Cant think of anything else lol...ohhh do you have a gym/birthing ball?? bounce on that haha xx
