My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Hey Ladies,

So last night i had to make my first trip to Labour and Delivery, i was having very bad pains in my tummy and i wasnt sure why, so i went in after a little while and they checked the babys heart beat and movements and they where all great, but i was getting contractions every 6-8 minutes, and she did a cervix exam and omg it hurt SOO bad it brought me to tears but she did tell me that i was 3 centimeters dialated and that my cervix was as soft as butter, hah yah those where her exact words, so they sent me home and gave me some tylonal and told me that if the pains get any worse to just come back, just thought id let everyone know what was going on with baby and me, so it could be anytime now :) hope all you ladies and the little ones are doing well :) oh and i was just wondering if anyone could explain how to time contractions, i looked it up on the net but i didnt really get it?? thanks girls
