10-6-2008 - more waiting

My mood while writing this blog: impatience

Ok so I had my doctor's appointment yesterday - I had been so impatient for it to come in the first place!!! So the doc does an u/s (vaginally) and only sees a tiny sac. She says that it looks like I'm earlier than 5 weeks (by my LMP I should be 5w3d). With my last pregnancy I was six weeks when I got the first u/s and there was a big difference in what we saw. Anyway, I was a little disappointed about that......so the doc sends me to draw some bloodwork to test my levels and then I have to go back tomorrow to test them again. I didn't know this but she says that the levels should double in 48 hours. I guess thats just to make sure I'm progressing ok since it's too early to tell on the u/s. Then I have to go back to see the doc in two weeks and she will do another u/s to see if we can get a better picture. So I am VERY impatient right now. This two weeks is worse than the 2ww!! lol.
