30-12-2008 - week 34 update

My mood while writing this blog: hopeful

I'm 34 weeks today!! YAY!! I honestly didn't think that we would make it this far pregnant. I mean what are the chances of staying pregnant with a completely thinned out cervix, fluids all the way down to the stitch, etc. etc. That cerclage sure is working hard to do it's job!! =) The bedrest and the 17p shot seems like a good working combination for us! So hitting this 34 week milestone seems kinda sureal and like a little miracle that we have been blessed with.

I feel back to normal from that little spout of sickness that we had. And the baby sure is back to normal too - moving around A LOT just like normal =) We had an appointment today for a BPP (get them 2x a week) and of course she looks great. But what I forgot to update about last week was our 33 week appointment. We got a growth scan at that appointment. And wow she was already at an estimated weight of 5 pounds 2 ounces!! And that was last week!!! The doc estimated that if she goes to full term or about 39 weeks then she's going to gain at least 3 more pounds!! Oh my goodness!! That seems soooo big. But I'm ecstatic that she is already that big and the further along we go the healthier she'll be. We try all the time to get a good 4D pic of her but she does not cooperate =( She wants us to wait to see what she looks like til she's born so it will be a surprise. lol... She is still in the SAME position - breech!!! She doesn't want to move!!! I guess she's really comfortable there...ugh so as of now it's going to be a C-section. Oh well. I just can't wait to bring her home. And to be honest I'm getting real tired of being pregnant and on bedrest and all the aches, pains and uncomfortableness that comes along with it all!!

So....2008 has had it's really rough times but we made it through and we are going to have a 2009 baby!!!
