28-2-2009 - More Hospitals - RSV

My mood while writing this blog: worried and frustrated

So now Izabella has RSV and is in the hospital. She was admitted yesterday evening. Dad stood with her through the night so i could go home and get some rest. It's not really "resting" no matter how much you sleep if your child is in the hospital. Uuuggghhh! Talk about frustration!!!! We had thought she may be getting sick so we took her in to see the doc, they sent her home on a nebulizer treatment, that still wasn't getting better as she had/has horrible congestion, so we took her back and they put her on some oxygen, that still wasn't helping and she wasn't eating or was having such a hard time eating she would give up. So when her breathing got even worse, we took her in and they said that she would be addmitted. This is our 2nd day here and don't know if I see much improvment. THey said she was very dehydrated when she came in and that has improved....I don't know. I just wish and pray that my baby gets healthy soon.....

im so sorry your baby is sick. i have a friend who spent a week in the hospital because of RSV. babies are very strong and im sure yours will pull through like a champ. you may look into getting a monthly synagis shot during the rsv season for the baby. my son gets them. they help them fight it off....just a thought. good luck and i hope to hear good news soon

Aw poor little baby is sick. I really hope she gets better soon. I just said a prayer for her, for God to bless her and be with you all through this. Give her lots of caring love even though she is in there. Keep your faith!

Oh poor you. What a hard time you are having. I hope Izabella gets better very soon. She is in the best place, so try not to be too worried if you can. Look after yourself. x

I feel for you! Me and one of my twin boys had a ten day stay at the hospital, he ended up having E.Coli!! Keep strong, your baby needs you ! It's good that your hubby let you get some rest. My husband stayed 2 nights with the baby while he was in the hospital. I didn't get to rest though, I had to take care of the other baby. I hope she gets better soon!
