15-1-2009 - Please dont leave me momma

My mood while writing this blog: SAD,SCARED

Hello Ladies,

Today has been one of the worst days of my life, my mother and I have had a lot of problems in the past with our relationship, some was my fault, some hers. I told my mother I was pregnant and she wasn't happy at all, we argued and said some things I know we both regretted afterwards, but neither of us said we was sorry to one another, we handled it how we always handle it, stop talking to one another for a while. Well last Thursday my mother had to go in to the hospital for a very simply surgery (removal of some stones in her kidney), so I didn't think much of it, on Sunday my sister called me and said "momma is not doing well and might have to go on a dialysis machine temporary” I was like OMG,, but I'm so stubborn I didn't call my mother instead I sent my fiance to the hospital to visit her on Monday with beautiful flowers and a card from the both of us, he told me that my mother didn't look to good, but she's doing ok, I still didn't call. Today I got a call from my dad saying that my mother has taken a turn for the worst and has been placed in ICU, she has internal bleeding and the doctors not looking for her to make it. I IMMEDIATLEY called a sub to take over my class and rushed to the hospital to find my mother attached to several machines and fighting for her life (she was resting) I broke down in tears, crying my heart out, begging her for her heart to forgive me. I have never seen my mother in this state, the nurses told me that she could hear me but she couldn't respond. Ladies I write this blog not only because I need you guys to pray for my mother, but to inform you that people that you LOVE don’t let disagreements and past problems come between your relationship, forgive and forget. I just want a second chance to be a daughter to my mother.(Crying my eyes out) I wonder if my mother thinking about me (her baby girl) laying in that hospital bed, I didn’t know until today how much my mother really means to me despite our past. I’m asking GOD PLEASE GIVE ME A SECOND CHANCE.

Thank you for listening ladies, I don’t know if it’s because I can’t stop crying today or what but my little blessing want stop moving inside of me, I know this isn’t the best way to describe my baby, but it feels like a worm moving around in there, the flutters are gone now, my little worm is swarming (lol)

i will keep your family in my prayers. i am very sensitive to families going through so much because im a nurse. i see it everyday. i pray god protects you and your family. you must try not to stress yourself too much , my sister is in the hospital too and i began to have pains and realized my baby needs me to be calm and safe. be careful about your stress levels ok sweety!

Put it all in God's hands. His will is going to be done regardless if it will be good or bad...I did pray for you honey. I asked God to give you strenghth in this dark hour and to make everything alright for the family. I will also keep your family on the prayer list. I really hope and have faith that she will be make it through this.

being that i just lost my mother i think u should forgive and forget., even tho ur relationship was not the best but u have to always remember u only have one mother and u should cherish her no matter what. so before u ask god for forgivness u have to forgive urself first.say ur our father prayer then talk to him as if u were talking to one of ur friends he likes that trust me then ask him to forgive u. go c ur mother as much as u can even tho she's not responding talk to her and tell her how much u love her and how much u mean to her and she means to u. be strong and pray to god

OMG! Im soooo sorry to hear that. Girl i had to pause and email my mama. Im in Korea and she is in the states. But we are jus like yall...argue n ignore each other. Girl dat made me tear up, we really need to stop being like dat towards each other. I also had to think about how i am with my husband...wow! Oooh girl God moves in mysterious way! Im glad u wrote this i needed to see this. I will be praying for ur mother to get well and for yall to have peace with each other. God bless :-)

Hey sweetie! I'm so sorry about your mother! I can assure u that ur mom isn't thinking anything negative about u and probably wants nothing more than to hold you and put ur argument behind. It sucks that it sometimes takes momets like these to tighten a relationship. Don't feel guilty about what happened, just be there with her to love and support her! Stay strong hunny! I definitely am keeping your mother & your fam in my prayers- I know what this is like- Life is too short to let things come between you and your loved ones..... I made that mistake as most people have- thankfully you still have time to make things right- We'll be praying that your momma makes a speedy and complete recovery and gets to embrace a relationship w/you and that precious baby!!!!! Who obviously is saying "calm down momma!! Everything will be alright!!!" ;-)

Aww I am sorry that you are crying girl. This really hit hime because me and my mom haven't spoken since July when she did not show up for my own wedding and she tried to contact me last week and I ignored her. You have really made me think and I will be praying for you and your mom.
