Hello Ladies,

I am sooooo CRAZY right now,, BUT I dont like my babies name no more and want to change it.. Do you ladies think its too late??? I called the Vital Records office today and someone is suppose to be calling me back on Monday, I want to change his name from Kai Thomas to Nicholas Alexander, the more I think about it, I dont like Kai no more, my husband and family think I'm crazy but I just havent been happy about his name since we been home (2 days)

What do you ladies think?????

I always loved the name Kai because I felt like it was a part of your name, but you have to do what you feel cause guess what I felt the same way when I left the hospital. I actually didn't want to change my son's name. I just wanted to change the way I spelled it, but I really didn't look into it. I just figured it was too late. Good Luck with your decision.

If you're not happy with it change it, but don't wait too late bcuz babies learn quickly & you don't want to confuse him.

Do what u feel is what u want if your not happy with the name Kai then so be it and change it, just make sure you really want to change it before you do.

It really is a personal decision but to me once you name em that's that its their name! I don't think I would have been the same person I am today if my mom had changed my name to Stacy which is what she wanted!!

if you dont like the name change it. mind you do you want it do be nicholas or nick? that is my brothers name, nicholas, and my parents had it changed to nick when he was a teenager, so its never to late to change it. but you dont wanna confuse your boy, so the sooner the better. you have to live with callin him that name, so pick one your really like, one that suits him, so good luck with your name picking!!

I like Nicholas and Kai...what about Nicholas Kai Thomas...but sweetie this is your lil man and what u call him will stick with him forever!!! So think long and hard and if u still aren't happy change his name ASAP

I LIKE NICHOLAS, BUT I LOVE KAI. IT SHOWS THAT YOUR SON IS APART OF YOU. YOU'RE KIA AND HES KAI, MOMMYS LITTLE MAN. ITS UNIQUE AND DIFFERENT AND IT IS CUTE, BUT NICHOLAS IT A CUTE NAME AS WELL, BUT NOT AS DIFFERENT.

I absolutely LOVE the name Kai Thomas...but if you aren't happy and you have discussed it with your hubby and he agrees then have at it....If you are going to change it, don't wait until it is too late...my opinion
