You can't take anti histamines, I had a rash ages ago and my doc said they are not safe in pregnancy so wouldn't give me anything

hey! i'm a hayfever sufferer and sorry to say they don't recommend antihistamines.. especially early on so do avoid them. if you're really struggling then definitely talk to your doctor but don't take anything till you do.

do u mean like allergy medicine?? i know im not in the UK but i do know that ur allowed to take benedryl while prego, hope this helps :)

Hi everybody, hope you are all doing well and enjoying the sunshine.
Does anyone living in the UK know if any of the anti-histamines are safe in pregnancy? I usually take Piriton tablets, but cannot seem to get a straight answer on whether I can take these or not. I'm gonna call the doctor but I missed her today, and I can't bear another night like last night.
Any fellow hayfever sufferers out there? What did you do?
Cheers (ps lots of cramping today, and sickness, so think the wee thing is growing)
