My mood while writing this blog: Absolutely Miserable |
Ok, so I'm feeling terribly sorry for myself. I suffer from hayfever generally. It's a nuisance, but I can normally live with it. Anyway, on Saturday my poor husband got the cold, and I then caught it off him, and got it on Sunday. So since Sunday I've had a mixture of a dreadful head cold, and a massive increase in my hayfever. I called in sick on Monday and today, and if I'm honest I don't think I'm going in tomorrow either. I can't take any hayfever medication, and I'm not keen on taking anything for the cold either. So I'm suffering. Right now I have a builder's mask on my face, to try to sop me breathing in any more pollen. I went and bought the fancy hayfever reliever from Lloyds Pharmacy, which I can use, and it worked for about one day. I think the fact that I also have the cold pretty much renders it useless. So I feel like crap....
Scan on Monday, when I should be showing as 8 weeks. My anxiety is building again because of this, and that's not helping either.
I feel so down, and tired, and sick. I know, I know welcome to pregnancy! But do I have to have everything at the one time? Can I please get a break? Wasn't counting on feeling this down.

Tuesday, 30 Jun ((big hug)) being ill whilst preggers is just the worst. The hormones will immediately make you feel sorry for yourself. I feel for you with the hayfever, my hubby has it really bad too, but he can take stuff (not that it works!) he has one of those up the nose things. Once you have got rid of your cold you have to use it 3 times a day for it to work.
Just chill out, put your feet up, plenty of fluids hot and cold if you can, you can take paracetamol if you need to. aussiegirl80 -

Tuesday, 30 Jun I swear pregnancy is the STRANGEST thing. When you want to be pregnant you will go through so much to get there. And then once you are you hate it..lol. The back pains, constipation, HEARTBURN, migraines, constant peeing, mood swings...you name it!! Then once you have them baby..YOU MISS IT!!! LOL! :)
I am so sorry you are feeling so yucky hun! I suffer from hayfever also (in fact that is one of the reason why we moved) and being sick on top of it is just icing on the cake. But it will get better. You will have days where you want to crawl in a hole and die, and days where you feel SO wonderful and are so happy about everything in your life. Keep your head up hun. It's all normal and don't feel bad about venting...that's what we are hear for...PLUS you can always use the excuse that you are pregnant. (no one can really argue with that!!!) LOL! :) mrslucky -
