Just a quickie to thank you all for your comments on my uncomfortable belly/movement.
I called the hospital today and discussed what I have been feeling with her, because it's got worse today. She said she thinks it's just growth. She asked me lots of questions and is not worried. Advised me to take some painkillers if it's really bad, which it's not. She also said to call her back in a couple of days if it's still here, or if I bleed etc. She said it's definitely not movement, so I'm still waiting on that. She was really nice, and actually sounded interested so I'm relieved to have called her.
Anyhoo, I feel a bit better about it. Thanks for your help once again.
(Gosh, I just read over this after typing it and I found three mistakes!!! I type for a living, and have been off for 10 days, so clearly I'm losing it and need to go back to work! NOT). Hee hee.......

I am glad you were able to get some reassurance. You were told though that you couldn't feel your baby yet? That surprises me, you are after all 18 weeks and some do feel it early, even if they haven't had several babies. I felt my first at 20 weeks, my second at 17 weeks and this one at 15 weeks. I told my nurse practitioner and although she was surprised she didn't dismiss it. All the best! Karin
