08-5-2008 - May 8th 2008 Morning from H#%%

My mood while writing this blog: AHHHHHHHH

Ok.. I know I just blogged yesterday but this has not been my morning!!!! I was all ready for work. I have to leave by 7:15... it's 7:10 so I go out to put the dogs on the porch. I open the glass door and shut the screen door (leaving the porch). That door closes slowly and Robin, our Husky, bolts out the screen door into the backyard. I tell Robin to get back in the porch several times.. .he thinks about it and bolts farther into the backyard. I go after him and step in a huge pile of fresh dog doo!!! AHHHH so I get him into the porch and go inside to clean off my shoe. That done I finish getting my decaf coffee ready get my bags on my shoulder and start to go out the door. I remembered that the babysitter wanted more milk for Hannah. I had already poured it but it was still in the fridge! I set my coffee on the table and get the milk. This took maybe 10 seconds.... Hannah grabbed my HOT coffee off the table the dumped it on the floor.... stepped in it dropped the ceramic mug shattering it on the floor!!!! I see that she has some coffee on her pants so I pick her up (she is screaming so I think the worst that she has been scoulded) and tear off her pants. Luckily she is fine not even red! Now I still have a screaming child, coffee and a shattered mug on the floor!!! No hubby to help me and I can't just leave it for later since the house is on the market (not that anyone has come to see it). Now it is already 7:30 I get it all cleaned up ... I still have to bring Hannah to the sitters and make it to work by 7:40 for a meeting with one of my students parents! AND no coffee!!!

You poor thing! I hate it when my day starts off crazy. BUT would you tradeit???? Nope! :O) Hope it gets better and that you don;t smell like poo. ;o) Hee hee!
