04-2-2010 - Glucose test...Update and bought our first house...=)

My mood while writing this blog: =(

I got my results for the glucose test. I will have to go for the 3 hour test since my level were a little high. Both my parents have diabetes and im a high chance for them and all i want to eat is sweets so guess what i'll probably end up having diabetes. I cant control my love and craving for chocolate and italian ice. I have been eating veggies more now and i have given up meats, since they make me sick. So far i have gained 16lbs and that is good. I will have to give up my chocolate habit for awhile now, so i can pass the 3 hour test.my mom had diabetes with my youngest sister and when she was born her glucose levels were low so i dont want that happening to my girl....hopefully everything will be ok. We also bought our first house, but its in PK. we have to pay the total by end of march and it is about 40K dollars. DH is working day and night to gather the money. we lend few people money so they will be paying us back in march aswell. people owe us about 25K and then we have to start baby shopping and that is going to take some money aswell. we are buying everything new and dont want to buy used or passed down since it is our first and we want to do everything for her. we will have everything ready for her by end of april. Its only me and DH for now and dont spend alot besides food, and our clothes come from pakistan, we will be able to do all of the shopping and paying for the house. I am expecting a baby shower since in our family nobody has ever had one maybe i'll have my frnds over b4 the baby is born. we get gifts after the baby is born. our baby shower is after the baby is born since people didnt find the sex out till the baby was born and mostly the parents would but neutral colors and after the baby was born they would get everything. Ok bye and take care for now...=)
