My mood while writing this blog: Busy Body

Hi all My Mama's, Mama's To Be and TTCs :)

I 've been putting off writing a blog for a while due to the fact that i'm super duper lazy nowadays! Anywho, I guess I should start from the beginning. I found out I was prego during my 6th week (pretty early). I've always had irregular periods and so my mind didnt think of pregnancy when my menstrual was late....like 2 months late, lol. I've gone an entire year with having only about 4-5 periods...so it wasnt a biggie. On top of my malfunctioning Aunt Flow, I had recently started to work out everyday after work as well as cutting out fattty foods. I was on my way to "Beyonceville"......then i hit a major bump. A baby bump! I remember talking to a co-worker who was at that time about 13 weeks pregnant. She kept telling me that I was pregnant and that I had better take a test. I told her to shut up and stop trying to force me on the baby train with her ! A couple of days passed and I thought I would humor myself and take a test. After taking the test I received a BFN ! My mind was at ease and I could finally tell my meddling co-worker that she was wrong. To my surprise, she laughed and told me that I bought a cheap test (which was true, I got it from Dollar General, lol ) and that I'd better get a name brand one. Now, that I think about it ....I was only about 4 weeks prego so maybe it was too early to show on the home pregnancy test???? Anyway, about two weeks later after still not having my "visitor" I decided to get a name brand digital test. Sure enough after a few blinks of the sand capsule, I got a big sign that read "PREGNANT". I could have fell off the toilet!!!

****SIDEBAR***** Why do woman who are not on birthcontrol and are not practicing safe sex, suprised when they become pregnant????? I mean....isnt that HOW you get pregnant?.....Please dont be offended by this...I FALL INTO THIS CATERGORY!!!!!.....Now Back to Our Regularly Scheduled Program.

After my "shocking" discovery, I called my older sister who had 3 weeks prior told me that she had a dream that I was pregnant (she swears she's the psychic network). As expected she responded with "I told you so". After hangimg up in her ear, I quickly dailed my loving boyfriend who, through my tears and snotting sobs, interpreted the words "I'm Pregnant". He headed over to my house and we drove through the city for the rest of the night discussing our future with a new addition. Just him. me and the little digital stick that read "Pregnant" but meant so more that just that. I must say that althought starting a family hasnt gone according to my plan and what I would prefer for my life, I am blessed with a famliy who is more excited, loving and supportive than I could have ever imagined. I'm a preacher's kid who is having a baby out of wedlock. Although you shouldn't mind what poeple say or think about you, especially when you are grown and supporting yourself....we are humans who are sometimes subject to catching feelings over the opinions of others. To my surprise, my Preacher Daddy couldnt have his chest stuck out any further over his "GrandBaby" :) Most of all, I have a man who loves me and our unborn child and see's (even when i didnt) this baby as a blessing and not a burden. I'm truely blessed. I just wanted to encourage every reader of this blog, that even if you dont have the support and love you need and deserve...YOUR BLESSED! Why? Because you are the vessel for a beautiful creation. And for all those TTC's your Blessing is on the way :)
