14-6-2009 - My 24th Birthday !!!!!!

My mood while writing this blog: Happy/Excited/Elated ...all that, lol

So yesterday (June 13th) was my 24th birthday!!!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEEE, lol.

I had a really nice time. Every year my family, friends and of course my hunny bunches of oates make my bday so very special. I'm truely blessed to be surrounded by so much love...everyday of the year. The day began with me getting my "do" done and from there I was off to run a few last minute errands that I should have done the day before...but, whatever. I then attended the first meeting for a bookclub that my older sister and her best friend recently organized called "Ladies Loyalty". It was held at a really chic restaurant in Owings Mills, MD "CIBO". After that Rick and I went to "Bo Brooks", a seafood restaurant in Fells Point. Its a community in downtown Baltimore that sits right on the water. Being as though i'm prego and very lame nowadays, by the end of dinner I was tired and very ready to go home and SLEEP, lol. Next year all the fun stuff will be back on the schedule, lol. As far as presents, Rick apparently had been searching the city like a mad man for a Buddha statue (strictly for decor). I've been wanting a statue of the fat belly buddha for a while now and couldnt find one ANYWHERE!!!! He found 3. Two are little ones, about 5 inches tall, one is cherry wood and the other is gold. Then I have one that is about 15 or 16 inches tall, black oak, beautiful detailing and totally gorgeous. I love it :) My bestie (hey Angie Pangie) bought me a beautiful two toned medallion bracelet. So FLY! My Daddy got me ballons and a dozen of pink and white roses...awwww :) My mom, of course bought a lullaby teady for the baby (hey,this is MY bday, lol). Other than that I recieved a ton of birthday cards and well wishes...all which I greatly appreciate. I thank God for allowing me to see 24 and I pray that I'm blessed to see my own child's 1st birthday next year...Till Next time Ladies.....love ya :)
