09-9-2009 - Thank U Lord !!!!

My mood while writing this blog: Grateful

So as you ladies know, this pregnancy has been a little difficult. I've been put on bedrest 3 times and was threatening to go into preterm labor. About 2 weeks ago I went to the doctor (33 weeks) and was told that I was 2 cm dilated and 80% effaced (my doctor could feel his head). Naturally I panicked because the last thing I wanted was to have a premiee that had to stay in the NICU and be prolonged from coming home. I was put on bedrest and told to take it easy. My doctor told me not to worry and that I could stay unchanged and make it to my due date. Well I went today for another visit and am so happy to report that everything looks great !!!! My cervix is once again nice and long and has even started to close back up !!! The baby is still head down but has descended back up and is no longer putting pressure on my cervix. My doctor even joked that she might have to send me dancing in order to move him back down. Prayer works !!!! Its natural to worry about your children but ultimately GOD has the last word and i'm so grateful for that. Thank you all for sending your prayers and positive energy our way!!!! I'll continue to send my prayers and good energy to you all as well !!!! To all my blog buddies that are in the same due date time frame as me....We dont have that much time left....lets see it to the end !!!!!!!!
