My sister, mom and oldest daughter have decided to throw me a baby shower. No one has a big enough house to have it except me. I have a pool and large backyard and am thinking offering my home to them for the shower. I figure a backyard shower by the pool would be nice, but I don't know if anyone else would like that idea. Otherwise, they will have to end up renting a hall. Any suggestions on what you think would be better and any ideas for poolside shower? I thought we could hire a masseuse and manicurist for 1-2 hours and offer the guests mini-manicures and 5-minute massages. What do you think? Anyone have any other ideas?

Girl, your home sounds perfect. Just check the weather and 7 days before and plan to change the time if it rains or is super hot..

I'll send you my address so I can come!! Sounds great. You could probably have a spa theme and have them come in robes and fuzzy slippers. Awesome soft music playing, fresh fruit...I'm there!

Im thinking it would depend on the weather where you live im having mine in august in arizona! So its super hot here in the summer so Im having to have it inside at a hotel where my family can stay cool and out of the heat besides that I have a huge family and so does my boyfriend so its bigger than I could imagine but if the weather is nice I think its a great idea loungin by the pool getting massages and manicures sounds awesome!
