I have never been one to block my blessings and as a child of God am always counting them as well. I am the type to see the glass half full as oppose to half empty, so despite being laid off for over a year, and some issues with a few regarding my pregnancy including my DH, I can honestly say life is wonderful. Noone's life is perfect, especially not mine, but as imperfect as it is, its wonderful. All of my children are healthy, I still have both my parents in my life, a husband who loves and takes care of me, a roof over my head, I feel safe and have many friends and family who I love and who love me in my life. On top of this new blessing/gift that is about to happen in my life, though life may not be perfect it is wonderful. (Try spending more time relishing how much you do have instead of what you don't and you'll be surprised how wonderful your life really is)
