Went to my neice's 1st birthday party and I should have stayed home. I became the chauffer and spent 3 hours driving around picking up people and items for the party. Noone told me beforehand and asked me at the last minute. I was livid by the time I finally got to sit down and eat. I didn't lift anything, but because I live in NJ and everyone else lives in Philly where the party was, I was just wanted to go and come back home afterwards. Needless to say I didn't get home until 10pm after dropping people off. It seems nobody has a car in Philly. My niece's aunt on her father's side ruined the party completely when she misplaced her cellphone and would not stop bitching about it for the rest of the party (including during the time we all were trying to sing happy birthday to my niece). Her mother finally said, "Excuse me, but this is my baby's birthday party, I wish you would drop it." She started accusing someone of stealing it and made a plea in the center of the room for whoever had taken it to return it. It was a spectical. She herself even admitted the phone was ragid and did not even have a back to it. But that wasn't the oddest thing to occur. The strangest thing also happened at the party this girl kept video taping me. I finally had to ask her to stop because it was becoming uncomfortable. Everywhere I moved I looked up and the camera was on me. I'd go into another room to get out of the view of the camera and she would follow right behind me and position herself in a chair across from me so she could get a better camera view. I asked my daughter was I imagining it, and she said no, she'd noticed her video taping me alot too. I wasn't talking or doing anything interesting at the times either, just sitting there. I tried pushing my seat back or leaning back behind someone I was sitting next to so I was out of her camera's view and she would come around to the otherside. Finally when my niece who's 1st b-day party it was began dancing and everyone watched smiling I looked up to see if the girl was video taping her dance, to find the camera instead aimed directly at me who was sitting on the love seat by myself. I had to finally ask her if she would please stop video taping me and that everytime I turned around her camera was on me. She said she had to keep video taping me because I kept moving around the room and the video she had taken earlier was coming out blurry. It was the weirdest thing ever. I was like WTF!! Is this "Fortysomething year old pregnant woman on display?"
My daughter also told me she'd overheard the girl who was video taping me tell her mother who was also at the party, "You'd better not try that, get pregnant at your age." Her mother is is 55 years old.

You handled that much better than I could - - I think after I moved out of her line of sight a few times, that I'd have to confront the camera girl. How very, very rude! Also, to have you play driver to the gathering, when you already drove yourself all the way down to Philly was wrong - at our stage of the game, it would have been nice for you to have had the party time to just relax, socialize and enjoy the moment - not jump in and out of the car. You showed your grace as a woman by your actions... In my hormonal state, I don't know if I'd have been able to stay so calm.

She was dead wrong and its sad she couldn't keep her focus on your neice , i mean it was her party. and i dont think its that odd that your are preg , ppl of all ages are having children and have been forever. thats y i wonder why everyone is making such a fuss about Celine Dion (guess its a big deal if its a celeb who does somethin lol)

Its a shame. You can't even go out and enjoy your nieces 1 year old birthday without people ruin it. I think they are wrong for making you pick up all those people. they should of had plans for transportation and not rely on u. Did any of those people pitch in for gas money? That chick that was video taping you had no respect for you none so ever and her mother ain't no better. There are people having babies that are older than you by the way. I went to my old apartments pool party yesterday and this lady I used to work with that I can't stand was there with her gf and they were giving me dirty looks the whole time when I passed by. I just ignore stupid people. I also get stares when I be grocery shopping with my husband. I guess these people think I am a teenager or something. I am waiting on one to come up to me and asked me how old I am so I can give them a rude awaking lol...Glad you made it home in peace..

what a mean comment of that girl. you are young and ass we know fetile. i am 23 and needed help to get pregnant for the first one at 21. I just wish people would be nice and not comment on others life because we never know what will hapen to us in the future. get some rest and ignore last night..

Wow, I am so sorry to hear that that happened to you! Some people are just so rude and inconsiderate! I have a lot of people laughing at me these days cause of the way I waddle when I walk :( As if we are not already feeling crappy enough we have to have people staring and doing odd things to make us feel even MORE uncomfortable! Hopefully you won't run into anymore weirdos! Just enjoy these last few weeks, it will be over so soon! :)
