09-9-2009 - Aidan Mekhi my baby boy is finally here

Good morning all my lovely ladies. I will be brief but just stopped by to let everyone know I had my little one September 6, 2009 at 8:12 p.m. His name is Aidan Mekhi and he weighed 6 pounds 14 ounces. It was a vaginal birth and all natural birth. No pain relief at all. (Still pissed about that) but so worth it. He is beautiful and healthy. I am breastfeeding and don't have any time to spend on line, but just wanted to update everyone. Had my baby shower 9/5/09 and started having contractions that night. Went in that morning to L&D because they were getting stronger, but still ony 10 minutes apart. They kept me for a few hours, but then sent me home even though I was 4 cm dilated. I was pissed. Then when I got home I had a call from the dr.'s who asked me to return to the hospital for a stress test and u/s and even though I told them I was having real contractions they didn't believe me and sent me home for the second time on 6/6/09 around 3:30 p.m. When we got home at 5:30 after having dinner out, my water broke around 7pm. My contractions then started coming every 2 minutes apart. It was horrible I was in so much pain and thought I was going to have the baby in the car. We arrived at the hospital at 8pm. and I delivered him at 8:12 pm. I literally almost had him in the car, and would have if we'd run into traffic. Needless to say the sons of b&$#ts did not have time to give me an epidural because I'd dilated so fast after my water broke. It was the worse pain I'd ever felt. Yes he was worth it, but I'm still a little traumatized by the fact that I'd been there and they didn't believe I was in real labor and sent me home twice and that I had to go through all that pain for all those hours without relief. So I gotta go because my little man is hungry. So happy to finally have him in my arms. Good luck everyone and talk to you soon I hope.

Congrad to you and I am so glad your husband came around. My bd did the same thing. Although he avoided me most of pregnancy now its "My son" and that. Men are so funny

Yeah, my hubby has his chest all out bragging and what not. Its amazing how people's attitudes change once they are here. HE EVEN TOOK 2 WKS OFF PATERNITY LEAVE TO BE HOME W/ME. Still avoiding my MIL & FIL, but otherwise I'm great.

Glad to here you didnt have you baby it the car although it would have been a good story to tell him when he is 13 and getting on your nerves. Lol its great that he is here and healthy thats what counts sounds like he is going to be a go go go boy when he says now you better belive its now. God bless you both. Hope all goes good with me these dr scare me with all the things that can go wrong when you are a little older.

I am so happy that you and Aidan are doing well. Thankfully, you made it to the hospital in the nick of time. I can't imagine the overwhelming pain and anxiety you were feeling on the car ride over to the hospital. Give your darling son a kiss and snuggle from the ladies online - - we are so happy that you now have your little bundle in your arms.

Congrats again. Sorry about the drama. I had my 3rd in the car, delivered him myself. Still got billed by the doctor, because they delivered the afterbirth. Glad everything was ok with you both though and that you made it in time. Can't wait to see pictures. Get some rest and talk to you soon.
