| 04-7-2008 - pregnancy scare | My mood while writing this blog:Ok |
Well, little pip gave me a scare yesterday, i was waiting outside school to pick up the kids,i had some cramping, like period pains, and i felt something like i had wet myself. Then i felt lots more and when i looked, blood was running down my legs, i was so scared and i panicked. I rang my midwife and she said go straight to A & E, i went and they didnt do much and booked me in for a scan for today, then sent me home, worrying.I hardly slept a wink last night, i had cramps and i was worried about the scan. When i got up this morning, the cramps had gone and my bleeding had stopped, so i started to feel a bit more positive, but still a bit scared. Finally the time for my scan came, i laid on the bed shaking, then the sonographer said there is a heartbeat, i burst into tears with relief. They could not find where the blood was coming from, so i am none the wiser, i just got to hope it was a one off, phew! I can not tell you how happy i am, and i can tell you, i have done a fair amount of praying and normally i'm not religious.
