19-5-2009 - SCAN AND TWINS CLINIC - 22 WEEKS so so My mood while writing this blog:
so so

Hello Everyone, Well today I had a scan which went great. Both my girlies are doing well and measuring as though they are singleton babies lol. For these types of twins that a little unusual. They expect them to be at least a few weeks in growth behind their single baby friends lol. Both weigh about 1lb. Both head down and ready to roll lol. I wondered what that pressure pain was.

I feel like this pregnancy is going from bad to worse though. Although my girlies are doing great it seems that everything that can go wrong with pregnancy is going wrong in mine. During my scan the sonographer left the room to get another opinion. Man I was freaking thinking sh!t she gonna say there's a 3rd or something but noooo I have an extra bit on my placenta. A lobe I think they called it. So when my afterbirth is taken away and examined they will make sure that lobe is there. They were concerned incase this extra bit was attatched to the membrane or something as there were 3 sonographers in the room in seconds. Way to go them for freaking me out. So now I know my placenta is deformed lol.

Well after the scan I went to the twins clinic as usual. The dietician grabbed me to have a word. I'm eating great, drinking enough fluids and my weight has dropped 8lbs in 22 weeks which for someone trying to get fit and healthy in pregnancy is great. So I niavly thought that this visit was starting to turn around. I should be so lucky. I had a word with the registrar about c-section vs vaginal and well looks like whatever I choose I will bleed again for sure. So she asked how much I lost last time. I said 4ltrs as thats what me, my mum and my partner heard the midwife who mopped it up off the floor after my last delivery say once she had weighed it. She had to weigh mop heads and pads and stuff but took off their dry weight. She said you've lost 4ltrs of blood, probably more but we will say 4 ltrs. Well today when they looked at my notes, which suddenly after 3 years of being missing turned up, that it only says 2.2 ltrs in my notes. Well to say the least this p!ssed me off. How can they lose notes for 3 year and the notes say something totally different after i saw what was written the last time. This is totally wrong. I believe my notes were doctored (for lack of a better word lol) Well I never said nothing as this was just the registrar and not the consultant but in 2 weeks when I go back I will ask to speak to her. I am so shocked that they could lie like that. My mum is coming with me too. She clearly remembers the midwife (who should have lost her job after what she did to me 3 years ago) say that I had lost 4ltrs, probably more (but couldn't be assed weighing it) and could point her out.

Sorry for rambling but I feel a little overwhelmed with everything. I just had to vent. Well to end my story I have decided that I will have my girlies by c-section. Although I will bleed again and added with the bleeding I will have with the inscition it will be more than just vaginal I don't want any cockups this time. If I am on the operating table and bleed like I did the last time they will have permission to just take my womb away and NOT have any reason to wrap the umbilical cord around their hand and YANK it off the uterus wall. (yup thats what happened with Andrew)

Well enough about me lol. How is everyone else??? Hope you are all feeling better than I am and hope your bumps are growing nicely. To all those TTC I hope this is your month. Thanks xoxox

I would be so mad too. I don't blame you I would want to know how they could possibly screw up for that long.
