Well I've been doing a little shopping on ebay for the last week, and let me tell you that I have been getting some good deals!! One was a lot of maternity pants that I won for only $30.00. Now the condition of these clothes were AWESOME!!! Half of them had tags, the rest looked like they just came out of the dry cleaners pressed & smelled so good. There were a variety of jean pants, dress pants, capri's, shorts, a jean skirt, and a dressy jacket. The lady put a note in the box saying that she threw in a couple of more things as she was going through her closet. Most of them came from motherhood, one had a 36.00 price tag from KHOLS. OMG I hit the jackpot. It took me over an hour to try them all on. They fit!!! So I got brave and decided to do some more shopping. I was really really wanting a HI BEBE fetal doppler. I know their expensive but I just needed to hear my babys heartbeat when I wanted to, and not when I had to wait to go to the dr. This DR online had extra's and I won it for only 81.00 (YEAH) Brand new in the box- 2 full bottles of the gel- and everything was still in plastic. YEAH!!!! OMG when I came home and seen it on my porch, my husband being funny, grabbed it and acted like a bully trying to keep it away. Well we got to hear that precious baby's heartbeat! I could see the difference b/c it comes with a LCD window to let me know the HB per minute. I would check the babys and then I would check mine and back & forth. So his mom (being from the old days and never even seeing a u/s b/c this will be her 1st biological grandchild) got to hear it. We called her up and just let it play for awhile before we even told her what it was. Now his mom is a very emotional person that cries dramatically over greeting cards. We had her on the phone and it was total silence and all you could hear is sniffling & then sobbing.She just started screaming & crying & shouting how happy she was to be able to hear the heartbeat of her grandchild. If that wasnt bad enough, she calls her sister in maryland (we live in ga) and tells her about it. Her sister (DH's aunt) calls and is wanting to hear it and then she gets all excited. Im thinking Geeesh im only 1/4 of the way there and this child is already a celebrity. It was awesome and I admit I loved the attention. But most importantly I love being able to hear my baby's HB. Not only that but while my husband was listening to it, the baby kept moving around and he had to search again for a new spot to find the HB. It was literally a kodak moment.....

Hey there... Congrats! I see your on your 3rd as well, how exciting isn't it! I also have been looking around ebay for a doppler and other sort of things, I noticed they had awesome deals for those on there and it sounds like you snagged one!!! I have an Dr. appt. & Ultrasound tomorrow thank goodness.. so excited to see the baby again and I know I will feel great after they tell me all is great but it will wear away and I will want to check on the baby as much as possible so I will do some ebaying for a doppler myself next week I think... I never thought to look for maternity clothes so I think I'll do that as well! Thanks for the request by the way and keep in touch!
