07-1-2009 - My husband got to see the baby kick from my belly

My mood while writing this blog: excited & so happy

Ok so the first time tonight this pregnancy seems more real to my husband. It was so precious~ I've been feeling JoAnn move for a while now. First the quickening, then the light movements, then kicking, and just last week felt her hiccup for the first time. My husband is constantly touching my belly just hoping to feel some type of movement so he just feels closer to this baby. Nothing! Ever time I can feel her, NOTHING for him. So we're watching TV tonight and she started going at it letting me know that she was fully awake. She mainly kicks when Im hungry, when I have to use the bathroom really bad, and ever time I eat some type of sugar. Well I really dont like to tell him when she's moving (at the moment) b/c he feels so left out because he cant feel anything. I told him she was just a kicking and he looks at my belly and as soon as he did. BOOM there jumped my belly. This is his first and my third baby and let me tell you his face was PRICELESS!! He was just totally amazed. It was so precious to watch him. He then started to keep watching hoping to see another kick, then he starting feeling my belly wishing he could feel something. Sorry to say he still couldnt feel the kick. I guess b/c its not strong enough but he def saw it tonight. A moment to def put in the baby book. Im so lucky to have a wonderful husband thats involved with this pregnancy. When we go to the Dr's, I think he wears them out with the questions about what the baby is doing. Especially when we did the sonagrams wanting to know what everything meant. I love him, and im just so pleased that my husband got to actually see a life he made move inside of me.....
