22-3-2009 - 34 wks Doctors Appt.

Well I went to the dr's thursday. I gained "4" lbs. Errr in 2 weeks, i was pretty upset b/c my dr was actually glad b/c i haven't gained much the entire pregnancy. So im now at a 12 lb gain for the preg. I really hope that I dont gain anymore before i have her. well i went into see him. Asked him about the problems that Im having. told him about the encounter with the nurse. Thats when he looked on my file and said the urine culture the nurse took showed up lots of bacteria as well as blood. I got an appt to see a urologist on the 31st b/c more then likely I do have kidney stones. I told him that the nurse wanted to know how far I was dilated and how i let her know, One how would i know and two my dr doesnt check till end of pregnany and she told me OH yes they do! MY dr said OH no we don't~ So i asked him when would he check me b/c I really wanted to know how I was doing down there. He told me unless there was a clinical reason that he would not check me till 37 wks or so. He said If I checked you today and you were at a 3, that wouldnt mean anything b/c im not going to send you to the hosp to deliver. Its too soon. Which he had a point, but still i wanted to just know whats going on down there. lol! so suprisingly he is going to start seeing me every week now. I thought that he would start that after a one more 2 wks visit when i then became 36 wks. but no he now wants every week. im still in lots and lots of pain. all this time I thought it was the pregnancy why im hurting to barely walk or move. NOPE its apparently all this infection that I have going on that causes me to hurt so bad. I wake up 3-4 times a night and im practically screaming with every movement and step it takes to get to the bathroom. it happens like that every time I go to the bathroom or need to urine. im assuming its the pressure of my bladder or a kidney stone trying to pass down through. after i go to the bathroom, the pressure is finally relieved but it hurts so bad to try to start the process of going. I also noticed that if i pull my leg up, like to cross my legs or to try to get in the car I have a VERY start pulling pain down there. its so weird but i hope it stops before she gets here or stop completely after having her. So next week I go to my dr and my iron dr the same day. yeah fun for me, lol
